Join us for an exceptional Iron Bowl Workshop led by Amanda Partridge Nordin, an acclaimed artist from Detroit. Amanda will guide you in transforming a pre-cast sand mold of a bowl into your unique vessel. Using provided tools, you will learn to "scratch" away at the sand, creating intricate designs on both the inside and outside of your bowl.

Come to one or both of the following days. All bowl carving needs to be completed by Friday evening.

Day 3: Saturday, September 28 All pieces poured at the Iron Pour Fire Performance 7:00 pm

Location: Heritage Park, CEC Building (small blue building), Frankenmuth

Day 1 will feature guided instruction to help you begin on your bowl.
On Day 2, you will have from 10 AM to 6 PM to finish your carving. All bowls must be completed by the end of Friday to be prepped on Saturday for the Iron Pour Fire Performance Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.
On Day 3, your iron bowl will be cast at the Iron Pour Fire Performance at 7:00 p.m.

This workshop is perfect for all skill levels and offers a unique opportunity to create a personalized iron bowl. The culmination of your hard work will be showcased at the spectacular Iron Pour Fire Performance, where your mold, poured with molten metal will create a stunning piece of art.
